FITNESS.......STILL LOADING

Sooooo.....the "F" this month for fitness is FAILURE (insert frown). I definitely failed this month at my diet but before you shake your head at me in shame let me explain.....

Ok here it is, I hate working out and I absolutely LOVE to eat lol. Well that's a portion of it. Truth is, it is really hard juggling day to day life and be healthy. I had a huge report due for the company I work for and instead of eating healthy during that period, I would get something quickly and scarf it down so I could meet my deadlines. Not to mention, I also drunk a glass of wine or whatever liquor in the house when I got home, ate dinner late and then would go to sleep afterwards due to stress. 

What I find to be incredibly insane though is that while you may be on the right path for weeks, just a few days can set you back tremendously. I'm definitely going to start back up in January after the holidays, especially when everyone else is in the "new year, new me" state of mind and make goals to have a weight goal I would like to hit for my birthday in May. 

Still wish me luck, and those that are struggling, just know that I completely understand what you're going through. Don't give up on me y'all, this is just the beginning!

FIT AND FINE...

While I have tons of favorite "F" words, this one is by far my least favorite because I absolutely LOVE food so I figured I have to incorporate fitness in here somewhere. 

I think that most of you would agree that when we have such a strenuous work schedule with children and a significant other that requires some of your time it is tough to find the time in between to work out. I personally had to change my way of thinking and create what I wanted my body to look like within my world of day to day living. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So here it is, I have challenged myself to lose 10lbs within 30 days. I bought myself a Sunny Row and Ride machine along with started Herbalife. Clearly I'm insane for doing it during holiday season but in the end I hope it is worth it.

FASHIONABLY FIT

One of the things that I realized very quickly is that you're more apt to lose weight if you look cute. It is a scientific fact (in my eyes). But if you're anything like me, then you aren't trying to break the bank to do so. 

 

You can go online to try and find gear that could work but my suggestion, go to the store! See how it will fit and how it breathes so that you can make the best decision.

VIRTUAL FITNESS

Unfortunately due to COVID some may not be as keen to go to the gym to lose weight as you were before. Personal trainers are now finding ways to make excercising more accessible and sometimes cheaper than the gym.

Now you can get that workout without leaving your living room.

GOATS & YOGA

Now this yoga is more of a unique experience but it is now the craze amongst some yogies. 

 

While most may ask why goats, the benefits of having animals whilst doing yoga has benefits to your mental health. Some believe that it can help with stress relief and blood pressure.
